  Lyn Littlefield Hoopes writes children's books and poetry.  She visits schools giving poetry workshops,  and adventures widely, writing, seeking new ideas for teaching, and taking photos to inspire her students poetry.  
I love to write for the quiet listening, seeing in my mind's eye  ... stepping into Jay's circle of writers I leave my busy-world shoes at the door and tiptoe in ... let the magic begin.  There is nothing quite like Jay's invitation to imagine.  Imagine!  Bon Courage!  Jay seems to say, Bon Aventure!  and our surprised pencils fly.

I am inspired by wild beauty.  In a moment of wonder, I ask myself
how can I bring this feeling of inspiration to children in the classroom…
